"In 2006, I contacted Boulder Ridge Icelandics after my husband
suggested I get an Icelandic Horse after I got hurt (again!) riding my
quirky Quarter Horse. They had a beautiful buckskin gelding for
sale but he was not what I was looking for, so the folks at Boulder
Ridge offered to help me find a good match. A couple weeks
later, they called me from Gudmar Petersson's farm in Kentucky.
Gudmar had a nice gelding that they had seen and tried out, and
they thought he was what I was looking for. It was a leap of faith
on my part to buy a horse sight unseen, but I agreed. Thus began
my love affair with Geisli. He has a wonderful temperament,
plenty of smooth tolt, and a forgiving nature. People often comment
on what a good match Geisli and I make. If it wasn't for Boulder
Ridge's help and their knowledge and understanding of the Icelandic
Horse, I would have missed out on the blast I've had riding Geisli
over the past three years! Oh, and two friends each ended up
getting an Icelandic of their own after I introduced them to
Boulder Ridge and the Icelandic Horse."
