Krista has now owned horses for 10 years. Starting with "Big" horses, where she mostly rode Western and some English. But after a riding accident with an Appaloosa Mare, Krista became a very nervous rider. Then we decided to sell the horses we owned and got into Icelandic Horses, now 7 years later, she is a more confident on her Icelandic horses. Haeringur, "Harry", is the one who helped gain her confidence and he is now used as her lesson horse for building confidence in children, and adults. Krista loves to go to riding competitions with her Icelandics. Krista is now a certified Level 1 CHA Instructor in English and Western.
